Defining Ourselves

Do we need to put ourselves in a box or label ourselves?  "I'm a plumber," "I'm a teacher," "I'm a pilot."

Are we only these labels?  Certainly not.  Why do we insist upon labeling our students and their abilities?  They are capable of much more and when we elevate the bar, students will achieve it. 
 We've got some talented, curious and insightful students at Thousand Oaks High School.  I'm excited about the value that our Entrepreneurship Academy, led by Mr. Casillas, Mr. Fleming, Ms. Moore, Mr. Stillwell and Mr. Thompson, can give to students.
